Terms of service

Tassel is a technology platform connecting homeowners with independent student contractors. Tassel is not a party to the service agreement and does not employ workers.

Enrollment verified this semester. Government ID matched. Verification reduces risk; it is not a warranty of any individual’s conduct.

You pay when a student is matched. Funds are released after you confirm the work is done. If you don’t respond within 24 hours of the completion photo, the job is confirmed automatically. All fees are itemized before payment.

• More than 24 hours before the window — full refund including fees.
• Within 24 hours — base price refunded, fees retained.
• Student no-show — full refund plus priority re-match.

Up to $500 in property protection per job, for damage reported within 48 hours.

No electrical, plumbing, roof access, ladders over 8 feet, tree work above head height, chemical application, or any work requiring a licensed trade.

Report issues within 48 hours of the completion photo. Payment holds, mediation steps, and remedies to be defined.
